Fantastical flowers created and decorated by hand in fine porcelain by Lucy Aird.
She meticulously replicates the structures of each flower, each piece incredibly time consuming to complete.
The porcelain clay is pushed to its limits in the making process to recreate the delicate and intricate nature of the flower. Making those which survive the final firing that bit more unique.

Her work is influenced by the exceptional botanical collages of Mary Delany at the British Museum, through to Madam Pompadour's stunning Sèvres perfumed ceramic flowers to enchant her King.
